Sometimes

Sometimes people let us down. I"m not thinking about anyone in particular, just in case you suddenly feel awkward. It's true though, sometimes when we need people the most, they are no where to be found.

I don't like it when people promise me that they'll never hurt me. It's not that I expect that particular person will break my heart, it's that I expect us all to be human. Eventually everyone will hurt someone, and I don't want someone to make a promise that they cannot keep.

That's what I was just considering.
